The ball tip (blue handle) is an excellent all around tool. The spherical shape of the tip gives the tools a softer touch, allowing you to apply more pressure before causing additional damage. The ball tip is a very good starting tool, as most beginners find it is the easiest tool to control. The ball tip works well for removing minor damage and dents.
